Dear Friend,

Call me at 619 795 4363, or e mail me at tennisoscar@aol.com

There is a mystery about the surge of good players overseas while the United States, for the first time in about a century, has no male or female player in the top ten in the world.

Today's article may provide some clues.  My materials and coaching techniques are very popular in Europe, Asia and South America.  I have also met several Canadian coaches who are very familiar with my techniques, including the very famous Louis Cayer.

USA coaches, minus a handful, have resisted to drop the old style.  They mix it with the new, and that does not work well either.

It's not that I am inventing something new.  I just applied sicence and observation to a field that had been full of misconceptions complicating a beatiful sport. Through my work, gone are those complications which prevent a player from achieving their very best.

Avail yourself of all of it and I promise you you'll be very happy with your own game.

With my best regards and wishes,

Oscar Wegner

What's The Problem?

I don't play matches as well as I practice

In match play I freeze very often.  I somehow can't duplicate what I do in practice, where I seem to have so much more control.

Can this be changed?

The Optimal Solution

Tennis Into the Future:

The scientific secrets most tennis players will never learn about playing.

When fear or uncertainty strikes, even mildly in a match, those learned responses you so carefully practiced and which we call strokes go overboard.  The little muscles you trained in conjunction with others get paralyzed.

Major muscles, on the other hand, operate at all times.  It's how your body has developed your basic operating structure and around which survival was built.  It's what you learned as a little kid, those instinctive moves, devoid of thought, that in emergencies prevail.  In fear, heart beating up, your left and right brain have stopped communicating and cooperating, and you are left with basic survival tools.  It's how you respond to threats.  Gross motor movements and major muscles are not impaired by that operating chasm and you are tunneled into a new world of confidence which simply operates what works best.

My Modern Tennis Methodology is based on operating with major muscles and sympathetic nerve reactions that can be trained to help you in any condition, from calmness to fear, stress, even when your heart is beating in the upper hundreds per minute and your cognitive system is shutting off.

This is how young children, left alone, with some basic principles learned perhaps from watching a favorite pro player on TV, develop awesome strokes.  Their small muscles are too weak and they don't help much.  It's natural that they isolate their major muscle groups.  Authoritatively interfered, those kids can lose their confidence quickly and this shows in competition, where they would seem to be a bundle of nerves, while others appear to be naturally endowed.

Modern Tennis Methodology is how top pros operate in any conditions, no matter who they play.  By abundant practice and searching for what feels and works best they have found their operating ways.  Their conquest of perfection always searched and never complete, but a working solution non-the-less.

Not only they play this way, but they also command a presence that is felt, an aura of self-sufficiency, of confidence  and power that transcends space.  They may be feeling fear inside, but they know how to conquer it through movements that they have tested over time.

What is Modern Tennis Methodology?  It's the application of science to research.  Through careful study and decades of application, those movements and reactions have been codified.  Basically, they apply to all top pros.

I don't need to coax you into studying them over and over.  You either want to get better or you don't.  If you have the book and 10 DVDs, better yet.
