Coaches and players of all levels tell their success "Your method of simplifying the strokes and teaching beginners to "play like the pros" has benefitted hundreds of New York City school children and the teachers that train them. It's remarkable to see children rallying back and forth 20-70 times within an hour and I love hearing from them that "tennis is easy." Sheri Slobin, Deputy Director of Programs. "Oscar's method has made my students produce longer rallies and increased their level of excitement for the game. Students quickly develop a better feel for the ball and consistency." David Glackin, coach, New York Junior Tennis League and USTA Area Training coach. "Oscar, I have thoroughly enjoyed your tapes and book - you have rekindled my passion for tennis and interest in learning as much as possible about this magnificent lifetime sport ." William, Chicago "I also can’t say enough about your teaching method of practicing volleying against a slanted board from your videos. That has done wonders for my hand eye coordination and reflexes at net." Jerry "I’d like to thank you making it easy for my students to play tennis. I teach tennis full time at two clubs. Just the other day I had three ladies that I teach rallying back and forth over 40 times from the baseline." Darren "I have been teaching tennis for about 25 years. I have all five videos. I have convinced many of my friends to follow your methods to teach people to play the game. It has made my life as a tennis teaching pro very easy and extremely fun." Steve "During the 20 years I have taught tennis, I have researched and used many techniques and methods to make learning easier. Oscar Wegner's insights into the game and innovative techniques are a major breakthrough." Tia Hall, Gainsville. "Tennis in Two Hours is a remarkable book. I checked it out of the Escondido, California library expecting another run-of-the-mill catalog of strokes ant tips. You have made an impact on my strokes and the way I teach classes and private lessons!" W. Clair Metzger, Jr., Escondido, California My tennis game has improved a lot since I met you, honestly, I don't follow 100 per cent of what you teach but I took the best of it and it made me a better player. Thanks again." Philippe, tennis coach, actor, Los Angeles, California "Your teaching methods are so successful that they got me fired from my club--the head pro got jealous. Oh well. But not all is lost. A club across town offered me the head pro position. Your methods are all the buzz in Buffalo!" Andy, tennis coach, Buffalo "Using your method I've freed up my mind and discovered that there is a lot more time to hit the ball than I thought!" Matt "I got the tapes and watched them all... I wish I had discovered your stuff 10 years ago! I hit some balls with a buddy of mine yesterday and he said that it was the most consistent he had ever seen me hit and that my balls were all deep. Even the ones that landed at the service line had so much topspin that jumped deep into the court." Jim "It has made a major difference in my game." JC "Your system is the BEST!!! It's not only helped my game in a week but I cannot wait to teach another lesson with your techniques!!!" Laurie, tennis coach, Longboat Key, Florida "I have watched them (the videos) a lot and even when I played tennis for the first time after listening to all your tips - things had already improved. Now I can go on and enjoy all the practice and playing with so much more understanding and confidence. All within a week - not bad progress." Charlotte "I truly want to thank you for creating your instructional tapes. Words can not describe how you have simplified things. I always get in trouble with my wife because I spend so much time practicing. Although I still need to practice, I can see the light to playing consistent tennis. Thank you for making me understand how simple tennis truly can be. I look forward to incorporating your techniques in my teaching." Robert "With the help from your book and videos, I have dramatically improved virtually all of aspects of my game. I have shared your techniques with a number of friends and have discussed many specifics with them. I believe each has improved his game to some extent." Larry "Among the many tips I absorbed was the second serve, where you toss the ball and then "push" or accelerate through the ball. My second serve was pretty good before, but Tuesday and Wednesday nights it was very good. I had much more spin or bite. Thanks." Jerry, Chicago "For the first time in 24 years I feel I know what I am doing on the court." Zoran "Dear Oscar, I enjoyed reading the book very much and it helped me beat my Mom for the first time." Phil Rothberg, 12 year old, Philadelphia. "Two weeks ago I received from you a book with videos and I can't thank you enough. I have been playing tennis for twenty years and can't remember about being more excited about the game. I'm playing twice as good as before." Charles "After taking thousands of dollars worth of lessons, I am in a good position to evaluate the effect of your instruction tapes and the improvement is dramatic. I still have a long way to go but am enjoying tennis as never before." Diana "Your teaching method is logical, easily understood, and works. Now I understand why Spain has so many players." Jana Hunsacker, former Director of Tennis, U.S.T.A. National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows, N.Y., the site of the U.S. Open Championships. "I've been a teaching pro for about 13 years. During that time I've come across many theories (some great and some not so great). I would usually test them in a lesson. If they work, I keep using them. Well, I've been keeping a lot of theories and material from your book and using them daily with my lessons, with great results!" Scott Gilmore, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. "After introducing top juniors to the Wegner Method, I went from unknown coach with zero tournament students to head pro at Dwight Davis, largest public facility in city and home to the St. Louis Aces (Andy Roddick). IN NINE MONTHS! I just smile when coaches try to say your method is just for starters and intermediates, for I have used it with 5.0s and nationally ranked juniors, all amazed at how advanced but still simple to Play Like the Pros really is. Now even coaches take lessons from me, but it's not me, it's your method they want." John Carpenter, Head Pro, Dwight Davis Tennis Center, St. Louis, Missouri Hi Oscar, hope you don't mind me getting in touch, i've been a squash player for the last 25 years but have now stopped playing competitively. I recently became a member of a Social Club which has a tennis section and was persuaded by some of the members to play and to my horror Iwas absolutely terrible smashing the ball al over the place but never in court. I sent for your Beginners Course and my game has improved 500%, to my amazement and most of the players at the club think I've had private coaching, which I suppose is basically true. Thanks for the help your methods have already given me. Yours J. W. Dear
Oscar: I am writing to tell you about the success I have had with you
system of vcr tapes which I purchased. I am 54 years old and my game
was going down hill. I was missing shots I used to make. I had less
and I basically practiced
my new shots and new ways of preparing for shots against a backboard
and in my weekend doubles games. I even leaned a board against my garage
door. Almost immediately my game changed. I I want to thank you for changing my life on the courts. This investment has had a return of about 1000%. Thanks again. A. C. Oscar, Hi Oscar, I have followed what you said, and finally understand what you were saying, that tennis really is easy. When you do the strokes that way, it becomes automatic; the only thing really to be concerned about is where to place it. I have not mastered it completely, but have gotten much better. Your tips and videos have helped me and I am sure many others. D. S. Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful instructional DVD's. My game has stepped up enormously. Thanks, J. M. Hi Oscar, Oscar, I like your approach
to playing like the pros...it works for me. A. A. Full contents of the videos - Click here or call us at 727-446-6988 BEGINNER COURSE ... INTERMEDIATE COURSE ... ADVANCED COURSE ... TEACHER/COACH |
